Design Thinking Challange to help India during Covid19.
Objective
How can we improve the medical situation of those living in both urban and rural communities?
Research
Interviews showed, that there is a lack of medical supplies, tests and protective gear especially in densely populated as well as very remote areas.
Empathize
We created personas for doctors and individuals and came to understand pain points. We also identified a risk potential, that could be prevented.
Define
How can we get supplies, vaccines and blood to remote areas fast, so individuals don't have to travel to hospitals, where many get infected?
Idiate
When the idea of a supply via drones came up we researched the feasibility and created a detailed service blueprint.
Outocome
We took a closer look at existing similar projects. For example "Zipline", a project in Afrika, that is used for medical supplies already. Our group then found, that there was a company in India trying to make this happen and were asked if they would like to assist in further research.
